Recently, I get a problem feedback for the 5kw 12v diesel engine heater, it doesn’t work and show the error code E85H. After checking from the Troubles hooting list, we had a conclusion as follows:

The combustion fan failed to start, After analyzing this issue, we have three hypotheses that need to be verified and ruled out step by step.

1st, please check the main unit’s voltage to see if it is way too low?
2nd, check the fan blades for any signs of scraping or rubbing?
3rd, for last, the ECU broken, but the possibility of this is very small.
I feedback all these to client to check, and suggest as the follows:
If both of the above 1st, and 2nd, checks reveal no issues, it is recommended to replace the combustion fan assembly.

We had the result from the client after giving the suggestions as above, they found the problem, the fan had moved off the shaft a little bit and stop spinning.
Client doubt, it is a brand new heater, they only used it for twice, how could it happen?

For this question, First, it is not big problem, it would be after adjusting by hands, The prerequisite is to disconnect all power sources. Second, the reason is probably because of the vibration due to driving distance.
