Water pump installation is very important for the whole working status, before installing the heater, we should release the vehicle’s original coolant and clean the water circulation pipes ahead of time.

During the water pump installation in the coolant heater, we should connect the heater main unit and water pump in series in the engine water circulation pipeline, and the engine water outlet pipe should be higher than the water pump inlet.

The water inlet of the heater is marked with “IN”, the water outlet is marked with “OUT”; the water outlet of the water pump is marked with “->” , The water pump will have an arrow or label indicating the direction of coolant flow. Make sure to connect the hoses in the correct direction to ensure the system works properly.

We should install the heater’s main unit at an angle that allows the main unit’s water inlet and outlet to face vertically upward. In addition to this requirement, the main unit must also meet the principle that the water outlet is higher than the water inlet,

We should install water pump’s inlet horizontally, and the outlet must be higher than the inlet.

After completing the connections, add antifreeze and start the engine to circulate the water. Turn on the vehicle’s heater and wait for the warm air to blow out to eliminate any bubbles in the water circulation line.

Before starting the heater, ensure that there is antifreeze in the water pump to prevent it from running dry.
